This shopping center goes back to the 1960's, as it does not appear on the 1958 aerial photo. It originally featured a Sears Catalog Store, Kroger Super Store, Allstate Insurance, Plaza Barber Shop, Lyon Pharmacy, Heritage Hardware, Fabric World, Branch County Bank, Corless Cleaners, Klean-Wash, Tempo and eventually Felpausch next to Kroger, which in-turn became Family Fare. As of 2023, there are plenty of open rental spots within the plaza itself.
