This motel goes back to the 1950's. It is still operating in 2023 with great reviews. It was run by the Beasley family in the 1960's. In 1983 the Winters family took over with the DeYoung family taking the name over in 1985. In 1976, the motel was the site of a runaway pig incident. In 1992, the motel owners wisely evicted a tenant from Missouri wanted for a naked, drunken rampage. The suspect was later jailed after going on the lam.
