Speet's goes back to 1950 and was started by Mr. and Mrs. Ben Speet. They sold the motel to Mr. and Mrs. Harm Niehof from the Netherlands in 1962. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kraai. By the 1970's, it was renting out rooms as efficiency apartments. It eventually changed to Webster's Inn. I believe it was considered an apartment complex at that point. It is still standing but I am not sure of the current status of the business.
