This motel was opened by Mr. and Mrs. George Dahtanis in 1953. It started out with 12 units and 7 cottages. It was constructed by Oscar Nelson and Son. George retired in 1961 and had passed away by 1968. By 1975, State Savings Bank of Scottville had purchased the property. They demolished the motel and built a bank branch on the site. As of 2023, it is West Shore Bank.
