This Michigan chain started in 1931 or so, lasting until about 2000 according to the articles I found. I will keep looking for a more complete history of the chain. I am assuming it was founded in Detroit but that is a guess at this point. The stores I know of were in Birmingham, Royal Oak, Northland Mall, Eastland Mall, and Westland Mall. I always loved their fancy script logo.
