This resort goes back to the 1960's and was once owned by Mary & Cal Gates. It features a great setting right on the Au Sable river and lots of canoes and a restaurant. It is now known as Gates Au Sable Lodge as of 2023 and the reviews are perfect. You can see it has been very well-maintained over the years. Rustic yet immaculate.
