The Aquarama goes back to the 1950's or 1960's. The earliest aerial photo I found was from 1981 but I am sure it was there well before that. There wasn't as much buildup along that stretch of road back then. I believe it operated under the original name until it was closed and demolished sometime in the early 2000's. A Dollar General is sitting on the general location as of 2022.
