This motel was built in 1950 by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pierce although it was the east building only, there are 2 wings now it seems. In 1963, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sharp took over. I found a 1963 ad for Lansing Lumber that featured the motel as an example of some construction panels that were used in the build. At some point, the place changed hands and it was re-named to America's Best Value Inn. It is still operating as of 2022.
