I vaguely remember the Colonial, it being in my old stomping grounds in Southfield. I had some friends in Lathrup Village so I would go by occasionally but I don't believe I ate there. The Colonial eventually closed and the building was either heavily remodeled or razed entirely and a new one built. The names the place has operated under include Salvatore Scallopini, Village Bar and Grille, Amity City Grill, Eddie Smokes BBQ and probably others. As of 2023 it seems to be empty.
