The location of the site was approximately where Meijer is. Up until the latest remodel they used to have a big picture of the site before Meijer was built in the 80s at this location and it was a square grocery store sized building with tons of cars and appliances sitting outside. Looked more like a scrapyard than a drive in appliance store. And around when they built Meijer Michigan avenue was reconfigured to split under US127 highway bridge and Michigan ave cuts off at Meijer/highway bridge and you have to go down Ann arbor Rd to Bender st to continue onto Michigan avenue. The part of Michigan ave that was removed for this reconfigured road was where the building and site would have connected.
Jack's operated in the 1960's. I see a couple of buildings on Michigan that could be possible locations. The structure is long gone. I am not sure if the place was an actual "drive-in" but it sounds interesting.
