This place goes back to the late 30's at a minimum. It was re-vamped in the 1940's. There was a hotel, boat livery, dance hall, picnic park, soda bar and bathing beach on the premises. I am taking a guess but I think this was all located near where Fine Lake Party Store sits today, given the layout of the area. There doesn't seem to be much left of any of this today according to the street view. Maybe a local resident could add a comment?
