May have been known as the Elvona Theatre
In 1939 the Bliss Theatre opened on South Lane. It was the nicest movie theate Blissfield ever had. However, it only stayed open on a regular basis until 1962. After that it opened occasionally for a while. This photo from 1973 shows one of those occasions. On November 13, 1986 the Bliss caught on fire and was destroyed.
