General Information:

The Desmond opened July 27, 1922. It sat 1,350 people. It ran fine until 1990 when GKC theaters in that wretched Birchwood Mall bought the Huron out and put it up for sale with the intention that whoever buys it for $50,000 doesnt play movies in it ever again. Thats when the gym people bought it. Way to destroy another piece of Port Huron history Birchwood!

It became the "Huron" in 1961. They twinned the theater when competition started with the Krafft 8 theater being built.
