Update 12/31/2024: I found an old postcard for Reed's Modern Motel. It was later named Brookside Motel. I am not sure if it is the same property as the Parkview but I feel it may have been as it is near the river. There is a similar structure onsite but not identical. I added a photo and some obituaries. If I later find Reed's was a separate motel from the Parkview, I will add a new listing for it.
The Parkview probably goes back to the 50's or 60's. It is still operating as of 2024 and has obviously been updated on the interior.
