This motel started out as Robbins Motel. It was a cabin operation at first, then a 17-unit motel and gift shop were added later. It was also known as Black Forest Ski Lodge, Benjamin's Motel, The Country Store and several other names. It seems it has always been a combo of a motel and store of some kind with a ski lodge thrown in too. It is operating as Blue Water Motel as of 2023.
