The Sundown probably goes back to the 1960's. It was once operated by Mr. and Mrs. C Perrin, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bryan, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kline, and Greg Matthews, in no particular order. The motel was demolished sometime in the early 2000's and is now an empty lot as of 2023.
