This site has been the home of many lodging establishments. I would say the first version would have been the Tomahawk Motel starting by Robert Beardsley. That was followed by the Downtowner Motor Inn. The placement and structure of those 2 buildings tell me the Downtowner was a re-build but I can't be positive. The Downtowner became the Devonshire and that consisted mostly of a change in name and signage. As of 2023, the site is Nelson Place which looks to be a total rebuild yet again.
