This old motel goes back to the 1950's. It was operated for 24 years by Ronald Skinner from 1963. Prior to that, in 1956, Mr. and Mrs. Albert O'Rourke had it. As the ads indicate below, the motel came up for sale a few times over the years. There was another motel called Mallard Lodge in town but I don't believe it was the same place. The motel is operating as Little Country Inn as of 2023.
