This Motel was started by Joe and Kandy Schalter back in the 1950's. The family also operated an auto glass operation and the buildings were next door to one another. It looks like the auto repair building was larger than the building that remains at the site today. The motel building is gone, but it can be spotted on the 2009 street view, peaking out from behind the auto repair building which now houses Fit Body Boot Camp as of 2023.
