The Gateway Motel is still operating as of 2023. I would estimate it goes back to the 1960's as it does not appear on the 1955 aerial photo.This motel was run by Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Cole and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Chapel at different points in the past.
