These cabins were operated by Carl Nelson. They were eventually wiped out to make way for the I-275/US-12 interchange. They show up on the 1951 aerial photo but were probably there before that. Interestingly, by 1957 it appears as though a full motel went up on the site. By 1973, it was all gone. I will need to check into what motel that was.
