This motel goes back to 1951. It was established by Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Hyde from Flint at that time. By 1956, A.C. Fast had taken over. Sometime later, John Cockrum had taken over. He also owned the Family Drive-In at one point which was just across the highway. By 1994, Julie Tenlen had it. The last mention in the newspaper archives was from 1996 but I am pretty sure it operated well after that. Somebody is caring for the grounds according to the street views. Perhaps it is apartments by now but no business is listed as operating there as of 2022 that I can find.
