This motel goes back to the 1950's. There were a few owners including Al and Sophie Borkowski, Joe and Stan Cousineau, and Louis Brow. I finally tracked down the location through a phone number. It used to sit across the street of where Pictured Rocks Inn & Suites sits as of 2024. There is a NAPA Auto Parts and Family Fare store operating on the old motel lot as of 2024. You can see the contour of the wooded hills in the background that match up to the old postcard views. See the comparison photo below.
