This motel was opened by Pat Brattain in 1956, he was a former law enforcement officer from Battle Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bedell purchased the motel in 1966 as Mr. Brattain needed to retire again for medical reasons. After looking around on Google Earth, I spotted this place. The building stands as of 2022 but it is pretty clear the place is not open. There was also a restaurant connected to the place as called the Lamplighter that operated until the aughts.
