This diner goes back to the 1950s and was operated by Edith and Emil Kallio. I really searched the historical aerial photos and could not find the exact location. It was stated to be in Wells, 1/4 mile North of Escanaba city limits. I don't see a current building that matches the postcard today. That highway did get divided sometime after 1953 so perhaps it was demolished to make way for that as the photo seems to show it pretty close to the road.
