This bar and grill goes back to the 1940s and was called Palmer's at the time. I believe the Palmers had a farm on that corner and this place was part of it. That was dissolved in an estate sale in 1968. It then changed to the Four Seasons Inn from the 60s on. Andy Priemer was the co-owner back then.
It operated under the Four Seasons name up until the early 2000s and is now known as the Springfield Inn Bar & Grill. The newspapers noted the liquor license transfer occurred in 1978 but both names seemed to be used thereafter. The reviews are great and the exterior remains largely unchanged which is nice.
