The Satellite Burgerteria goes back to the 60's probably. The site was later occupied by Charlie's Chuck Wagon (of Chicken Charlie's fame), then Schwarz's Chuck Wagon in what I assume was the same building. It seems it was razed in the early 2000's to make way for a medical building of some sort. Satellite was a small franchised chain that included locations in Albion, Jenison, and Ann Arbor in addition to Plainwell. They were also found in other states. I found some advertising for franchise opportunities from the mid 1960's.
