I first discovered this place while perusing old high school yearbooks, looking for vintage ads. There was quite a trove of information in the newspapers on it. This place had several owners over the years. They included Bob Rogalski, Lorraine Schenden, and Herbert Schenden. I also found an ad for Dairy Dip Burger Den operated by Millie Nelson and Pat Quillen. The address on that ad was 902 S Howell. I am not sure what is going on there as that address is well south of town and is an empty lot next to a house. I guess the ad was a misprint or the addresses changed along the way. As of 2023, a Sushi shop called Fondness is operating in the former Dairy Dip building.
