There were a few Knife & Fork Restaurants around the state. This entry will document the locations in Iron Mountain and Sault Ste Marie.
The Sault Ste Marie location was on the I-75 Business Loop in the Sault Plaza Shopping Center which is also known as the Soo Plaza. It was first attempted in 1967 but the unfinished restaurant burnt down. It was eventually built yet again. The owner of that built a Ramada Inn next door to the restaurant in 1974. That operated under some different names until it closed. I have documented that HERE. It may be whats left of the restaurant is still sitting next to the abandoned hotel, see photo below.
The Ironwood location was on US-2. The design of the 2 locations is virtually identical but there are minor differences if you look closely.
